DMGuy
Greetings. I’m trying to record a Minilouge arp patch via audio into logic. I record the audio and the BPM plugin shows a tempo range of 125.8 - 126.1. A couple of things: 1. I want to preserve my playing to give it a human feel. That is playing the next note behind or ahead of the beat to trigger the arp line. 2. Is there a way to lay out a drum track that would match the variable tempo of the arp’s audio file? 3. Does groove work with varying BPM? Thanks!
David Nahmani
You should first beat map your Minilogue performance to create a tempo map that makes the grid (and the click) follow your recording. Then you can lay out a drum track on the grid and it will follow the new tempo map. https://support.apple.com/en-bh/guide/logicpro/lgcp46a73246/mac Let us know if you have more questions or need help with the details?
