rafesco
Hi! I'm updating my production/mix template and I've got several Aux Channel Strips with some effects presets I use often (reverbs, delays, crazy effects, parallel processing etc). I ordered all aux channel strips in a way that makes sense for me, and now I'm trying to set their inputs to buses in ascending order starting from bus 33. Theoretically, if I selected all channel strips and held Option + clicked Bus 33, the inputs would be numbered Bus 33, Bus 34, Bus 35... etc, till the last channel strip. However, the numbering is all messed up when I do this. It only goes ascending till a certain point, then for some reason Logic assigns some random higher buses on the way (see screenshot). I made sure to remove the input of all tracks so that it would start from a blank point, but this happens anyway. How can I achieve proper numbering? It will be really time consuming if I have to individually set the Input Bus of each aux channel strip manually every time I want to update my template. Thanks! David Nahmani
I suppose the other busses are already used somewhere else in your template. If you need help finding them, attach your project here: How to attach files to your post
rafesco
Hi David! Thanks for your reply and your willingness to help. From what I could find, none of the buses I wanted to use were in use, but I attached the template file so that you can take a look and see if you can find any inconsistency. Thank you!
