apaclin2
Recently stumbled upon a bug where sustain randomly doesn't release. For what reason?
David Nahmani
Can you make a copy of your project, strip it down to only the problem track, and attach that here? How to attach files to your post

David Nahmani
Got it and found the culprit: open the Event List and you'll see a Sustain event (with a value of 1) at 6 1 1 55. Delete that event.
apaclin2
Thanks man! But why does it work like that? One spot where the value is 1 affects the whole song? And so it must be 127 or 0 or it gets buggy?

And so it must be 127 or 0 or it gets buggy? I don't see a bug, but it certainly is sloppy MIDI programming/recording. AFAIK the MIDI standard defines value 0 = OFF, and value 127 = ON. Anything else is left for interpretation. In the automation lane, what you see are just MIDI events. Why they end up there depends on the controller and your performance, or your MIDI programming. How they are interpreted by the instrument depends on the instrument, the patch loaded in the instrument and how it's programmed.
