ry-guy
Not sure how to word this but, are Apple loops created using logic or just any recorded sound sample? For example, i really like Recollection Atmos Pad loop but i want something similar as an instrument (maybe Alchemy?). So i was curious if it was created in Logic or just some third party uploaded it using whatever real synth they wanted. Or i guess the other question is can you find out where an audio loop came from?(who created it) Sorry for the vague question haha. Thanks guys! des99
I haven't looked at the example loop, but if it's an audio loop, they are created by various independent producers in their own studios, using whatever tools they want to produce that content. No, the authors, contents or any more information about the loop content is not published by Apple.
ry-guy
Ok, that’s what i was assuming, thank you for your response!
David Nahmani
I can't find "Recollection Atmos Pad" here. In my book I share an exercise on how to take an audio loop (a synth bass lead) and using Quick Sampler to be able to turn it back into a software instrument. I can't guarantee this would work for any loop, it depends on how you can isolate at least one note or chord from the loop and what you intend to do with it. But it's a fun experience and can result in some interesting new sounds.
ry-guy
Ok, yeah, i tried to mess around with the sampler a little bit, I’ll try some more again. Was a typo on my part, it’s “atmo” not atmos. Thanks all.

Ok I found it. With that one you could sample the chords and sync their pumping effect to tempo then transpose them to any key you want. Since there are at least one minor and one major chord in the loop you could play any key in major or minor.
ValliSoftware
I had some fun with this. I've done this before with other Blue Apple Loops. In the end I never want an exact copy but maybe a similar but hopefully a better loop.
