ilogicprohelp
Hi, I've placed a bunch of audio regions on the same audio track in order to batch apply the same audio effects to all of them. Now I'd like to manually erase a silent part at the beginning of each of the regions, and would like to know whether there's a keyboard shortcut or other way to jump to each next region, because it's difficult to find them, as they're glued one to another. JakobP
If you by "jump to" mean select the next or previous region, you can use the left/right arrow keys for that...
Mania
If they are currently one a big audio file with silence passages then maybe you want to look into the function called ‘strip silence.’
simon.a.billington
I like to setup Markers for each section personally. Then you can use the numeric keypad to jump from marker to marker, if you have one. They're handy for other things too.
David Nahmani
There are all sorts of key commands that can be useful to you, don't hesitate to open Logic Pro > Key Commands > Edit, and search for things like: - Select Next Region - Go to selection Start - Go to selection End - Play from Selection etc... then experiment with them and see which ones fit your workflow best. If there's a symbol you don't know how to interpret, use this: Decipher Logic's mysterious key command symbols
simon.a.billington
Yeah those can be helpful too. Some you'll have to set your own key commands for, though.
