Gianni_Gon
Hi there, I am not sure if this is the correct technical term. I want to make one region out of two, not by joining them but by adding the recorded layers from one to another. This is about two vocal audio regions that are both good and that I wanna make use of. I hope I described it in a way that it can be understood. Thanks! Cheers!
triplets
The easiest way to do that is by soloing both tracks and bouncing. Do you want the bounced file mono or stereo?
David Nahmani
If the goal is only to arrange them together (move, copy, resize etc..) while keeping the audio signals separate, then you can select the two regions and then choose Functions > Folder > Pack Folder which packs the two regions into a folder-region, acting now as a single region. You can double-click the folder to go inside, and see your two vocal regions, and then double-click the background of the Tracks area to go back outside and see only one folder region in your main arrangement. Gianni_Gon
Can I pack two vocal regions into one folder and still be able to click on the arrow at the left corner to see the different takes? I want to do this in order to choose exactly those parts of the different regions that I like (not sure about the technical term of that)
David Nahmani
Then you want to pack a take folder: choose Functions > Folder > Pack Take Folder.
