Music Spirit
Suppose you are making a demo with a click recorded - is there anyway to switch the click off at a desired point while the track is running..? Apart from doing it manually?
David Nahmani
I recommend programming your own click on a software instrument track.
Music Spirit
I recommend programming your own click on a software instrument track. Makes sense thanks David - so I guess that's a 'no' ...

des99
Can you not leave the metronome running and automate (mute/level etc) the mixer channel the click is coming up on to mute/enable it?
wolfgerb
Like des99 said. In the mixer hit the All-Tab, select the click channel. hit ctrl-T to create a track in the arrangement. Then you can automate the click-track like any other track.
des99
You don't even need to create a track in the arrangement - just enable "latch" mode (or whatever) on the channel strip housing the metronome, make your changes during playback, then put it back to read mode. Music Spirit
Folks I found a BRILLIANT simple work around for this.... Suppose you want stop the click at end of the Project - find a point at the end of the final bar or note programme a ridiculously slow Tempo Change ie 5 bpm.. The click stops because you need to wait to tea time to hear the next beat
David Nahmani
The click stops because you need to wait to tea time to hear the next beat Well that solution works only if you don't happen to change tempo JUST before tea time.
