AMD
Hi everyone. I had my apple loops on an external HD with an alias in this location /Library/Audio/Apple Loops/Apple pointing to the actual loops on the external HD. I thought I could simply delete the alias and copy the loops back to their original location on my internal Macintosh HD and all would be well, but if I open Logic without the external HD connected, all my loops are greyed out. Any ideas what I've done wrong? Thanks.
Solution David Nahmani Posted July 18, 2021 Solution Share Posted July 18, 2021 1. Put the loops wherever you want them. 2. Open the Loop browser. 3. Click the Loop Packs pop-up menu at the top and choose Reindex All Loops.

David Nahmani
You're welcome, let us know how it works for you! Make sure you get rid of all these alias files, you don't need them.
AMD
Worked perfectly David, thank you. I don't know how I overlooked that at the beginning, but it's all good now
