One100
I have a template with tracks for every hardware synth. When I open this template some tracks “have forgotten” their assignment. What al I doping wrong? Edited July 25, 2021 by One100
fuzzfilth
With that little info about how these are connected it's really hard to guess. If these synths are/were not connected via USB when Logic is launched, the order of available MIDI ports at the Physical In Object changes, thus breaking any Environment cabling from the PI, and cancels their assignments in External Instrument Plugins. One100
Thanks for your response. Everything is connected via usb, and I did nothing in the environment.
Solution fuzzfilth Posted July 23, 2021 Solution Share Posted July 23, 2021 So yes, if the order in which these are switched on changes or some are not switched on at all, the MIDI port order changes and this cancels their assignments in External Instrument Plugins. Make sure you always power up all MIDI devices, and in the same order, before launching Logic.
One100
Many thanks. I try that out.
One100
Thanks again fuzzfilth, that worked like a charm. I power up all my synths with one button.
