Sonica.be
I select a part of a region with marquee tool with smart snapping on a division, when I click it gets cut a few ticks after division (see pics) Why does this happen?
fusbur
Hi. Try a different snap value?
David Nahmani
Is the Marquee selection snapping to that wrong location after you release the mouse button? Or does it stay as you select it and it's only when you click it with the Pointer tool that the region is cut at the wrong location?

The Marquee selection is on right location, when i click it cuts 0,005 sec further.
David Nahmani
The Marquee selection is on right location, when i click it cuts 0,005 sec further. That's odd, what if you press Control-M instead of clicking with the pointer tool?

David Nahmani
Is the project start marker position 1 1 1 1 ?
Sonica.be
I've been messing around with a bit, the offset isn't a always 0,005 sec. In this example it's cutting a smaller bit than the selection.

Yes, that did the trick ! Thank you so much David ! But I don't understand why this fixed it. Isn't "zero crossing" the middle of 2 crossings(bar/beat/tick/...)? David Nahmani
Great! You're welcome. But I don't understand why this fixed it. Isn't "zero crossing" the middle of 2 crossings(bar/beat/tick/...)? A zero-crossing is where the waveform crosses the zero line (the horizontal line in the middle of the waveform):
