djsnake
Hey Y'all. I wonder if there is a way of routing everything that is routed to Stereo Output to a Bus. If i select all of the tracks and do the routing, the ones that are already routed to a bus gets routed directly to the new bus. I'm trying to re-route everything that is routed to Stereo Output, including busses. Is there a way of doing it instead of going thru one by one? Thanks in advance. fuzzfilth
In the Main window, shift-select all tracks you want to route, then route one of them. All selected tracks will follow. or In the Mixer, shift-select all channels you want to route, then route one of them. All selected channels will follow. djsnake
Well that's what I've tried, it routes a track that is already routed instead of routing its bus. Like i have 2 tracks, routed to Stereo Output and a bus (let's say bus 1). When i select them both and route to somewhere specific, i want the already routed track to remain the same while the bus 1 gets routed to that specific bus. I asked if there is any shortcut way of doing that. Thanks anyways tho. And I'm on Logic 10.4.
Solution David Nahmani Posted August 3, 2021 Solution Share Posted August 3, 2021 You have to do the selection manually. For example: 1. Open the Mixer. 2. Command-A to select all. 3. Command-click the channel strips that are routed to busses to deselect them. 4. Click the Output pop-up menu of one of the selected channels and choose the desired routing. djsnake
Thanks y'all, I guess there is no way around. And @fuzzfilth, the point is to create another "Stereo Output" quickly, without skipping any track, bus, vca.
fuzzfilth
Then put an IO Plugin into the first spot of the Stereo Out, set its Out to 3-4. There it is, everything on another stereo out.
