Achigan Friser
I've just downloaded the free trial version of Logic Pro, and I've tried to play with my MIDI keyboard (Behringer Motor 61), it sounds good but every time I press on any key of my keyboard, and no matter the virtual instrument I choose, there's always a bass-drum sound at the moment I press the key, and after I hear the right sound. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this annoying problem?
enossified
You get the exact same bass drum sound regardless of what note is played? Mute all the tracks but one. Still getting the bass drum sound?
JakobP
Try main menu Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Bypass all Control Surfaces and see if that helps ?
Achigan Friser
No the bass-drum sound is different for each key, and it's the only track I have on the board and that one is connected to my MIDI keyboard, and no matter the virtual instrument I choose on it, there's the bass-drum sound! And for the bypass all control surfaces, it doesn't work, the bass-drum sound is still there.

If you mute the track, do you continue getting the bass drum sound?
Achigan Friser
Yes I've just tried and when I mute the only track I have, the bass-drum sound continue when I play a note!
JakobP
Yes I've just tried and when I mute the only track I have, the bass-drum sound continue when I play a note! Do you see signal on the Stereo Out channel strip when doing this ?
Solution analogika Posted August 18, 2021 Solution Share Posted August 18, 2021 Are you sure the sound is coming from Logic, and not from another application open in the background?
Achigan Friser
Ohhh sorry guys! It was just because I tried another software before I download Logic Pro and I thought I closed it but it was still opened in background like analogika said! Thank you guys for the help! David Nahmani
no worries and good to hear. I remember having this issue once a while ago, when I had MainStage open at the same time as Logic.
