deckard1
Hi, Sorry for the newbie question... Is it possible to save all Logic projects to an external SSD drive by default? Thanks.
Steve Kudlacek
I save all of my projects to iCloud. Logic and Mac are real funny about recalling this location when I bounce a project or am opening / saving files. I have not found a cure. When you save projects, Logic prompts the system file selector so you can choose where you save projects to. By default, it opens on ~/Music/Logic. If you want the file selector to always point elsewhere when it's first opened to save a project, you can either make an alias at ~/Music/Logic to point to a folder on your other drive by default, or you can use the Default Folder utility to say "everytime Logic opens the fileselector, go to a specified folder of my choice by default".
