ninja444
I have a midi keyboard with 8 sliders. Is it possible for me to assign each of those sliders to the volumes of different tracks? How do you do that? Whenever I assign volume it seems to be just for the track that is selected.
Solution des99 Posted September 14, 2021 Solution Share Posted September 14, 2021 You can edit the assignment to target different channel strips directly, or simply enable learn mode without the track you are learning selected at the time of the assignment. ninja444
That's amazing! thank you. Do you happen to know of any videos or other knowledge sources that would show how to do it?You can edit the assignment to target different channel strips directly, or simply enable learn mode without the track you are learning selected at the time of the assignment. ninja444
Thank you! The thing is that when I do that it keeps applying it to "selected track". It doesn't seem to be allowing me to set different sliders to different tracks. That's amazing! thank you. Do you happen to know of any videos or other knowledge sources that would show how to do it? Just press Command-L, click the fader, move a fader on your controller, repeat for as many faders as you want, and close the controller assignment window. As soon as I move the volume slider in logic, the Channel Strip controller assignment parameter reverts to "Selected Track". My keyboard is a Triton Taktile 49 key, if that makes a difference. David Nahmani
Make sure you select another track first (not the one you're assigning), as des99 suggested! Then learn your assignment on the unselected track in the Mixer.
