ScottCF
Hey! Anyone know if there's a way to play the sounds from a Korg workstation using a digital piano connected to logic pro? I have a korg nautilus 61 keys, and wanted to use my yamaha 88 key digital piano to play its sounds. Thanks! Scott
des99
Sure! Are you not using Logic with your MIDI instruments already? Short answer - any MIDI instrument you play that is sending notes to Logic will play the instrument on the currently selected track. It's how you can play and record many different instruments from one master keyboard. So, select a track that is sending MIDI to your Korg synth (ie, just as normally when using a sequencer to sequence a MIDI instrument), and assuming your piano is hooked up to send MIDI to your computer, just play the piano, and those notes will get routed through Logic, the selected track, and back out to your synth. This is the fundamentals of using a MIDI sequencer, so I'm not sure whether you're new to this or what, but if you're not sure of anything I've said, post back and I can break it down further if necessary. ScottCF
Awesome! So yeah I've been using Logic for a little, but not as an engineer, just an amateur. I'll try to do what you said, and if I run into any trouble I'll reach back out. I appreciate it. Thanks much!
