Craig6973
Hi, I brought in a snippet of a bird call sound and shape it in a sampler but now I would like to know how can I add another layer or many layers of sounds inside this same sampler ? Thanks
fuzzfilth
You need to create as many Groups as you have samples. Silly, I know, because Sampler's predecessor, the EXS24, didn't have this stupid limitation. You could layer as many Zones as you wanted in the same Group just fine. In Sampler, you will only get this by layering Groups.

David Nahmani
do you know of videos that shows this because I messing with groups and it’s confusing for some reason Tell us how you've set up your groups and what you find confusing, or what you've done and what you'd like to achieve exactly - or share your project here - so that we can help you. Here's an example of a sampler instrument with two layered samples: OH.aif and AH.aif. Each sample is in a zone, each zone in a group, and both groups are extended throughout the entire keyboard range. Here's the Logic project if you'd like to play the instrument and see how it's set up: OH-AH.zip Any questions, just ask here!
