Kaatza Music
I recently reset my MacBook Pro to factory settings and upgraded to Big Sur and the latest version of Logic. I have 2 questions: When I create a new software instrument, it always creates an electric piano, I would rather just have an empty track. When 8 open a project from one of my templates, the samples are not loaded on the tracks I already have set up, I have to click on a track before it loads. Before, my templates would always load with the track samples fully loaded. Thank you.
David Nahmani
1. Click the + at the top of your track headers, or press Option-Command-N. 2. In the New Tracks dialog, select Software Instrument. 3. Under "Details", in the Instrument pop-up menu, choose Empty Channel Strip. 4. Click Create. From now on, new software instrument tracks will default to empty channel strips.
Kaatza Music
Any answer to my 2nd question? How do I make the samples load for each track when I open a project from a template?
JakobP
Go to Project Settings under General, uncheck "Only load plug-ins needed for project playback".
