mustech
Hey. Maybe a silly annoyance, but I find that when I attempt to save a Logic project, the filename is not highlighted as it always had been. Not seeing this in other Apps. Using Big Sur and Logic 10.6.3 Just to be clear, I open a new project, make some music and click "Save." The save dialog box appears with the generic filename "Project" in place. I need to select the word "Project" in order to type a more useful filename. Previously (and currently in other apps), the word "Project" would be highlighted so that I could type a good filename immediately. Others experiencing this? stratquebec
I would try with a guest account. If it works, in your main account close Logic then trash the logic pro preferences. Quit Logic Pro.In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder.Enter ~/Library/Preferences, then click Go.Move the "com.apple.logic10.plist" file from the Preferences folder to the desktop. facej
Big Sur, Logic 10.6.3, intel - clicking save for a new project comes up with the filename highlighted in the dialog box. Tried it on the M1, same thing... I do note the following... The filename that is chosen by default for a project appears to be 'Project'. If there is no project named 'Project' in the default location then the name 'Project' will not be highlighted. If there already is a project named 'Project' in the default location then the dialog box will have the name 'Project 1' and it WILL be highlighted. Odd. The filename is highlighted. As a package or a folder too.
