eieio
I'm hearing an audio dropout in a specific place on the timeline. It only lasts a millisecond and then it's on again as normal. I assume it happens on all tracks, although there's only two tracks in my situation. It's as if I sliced the regions and removed a tiny piece. There's just silence. There are no peaks or overs anywhere. The dropout DOES print to the bounced track. The original audio file is fine. Do I have a corrupted project? I recently upgraded to High Sierra if that matters. This problem didn't happen until after this upgrade. Is this a bug or pilot error?
Atlas007
What happen if you increase the buffer size? Have you updated your audio interface drivers (if any)? One way to check if your project is corrupted is to rebuild same. You would do so by creating a new project from scratch. Don’t use a template as it might be itself be corrupted. From the potentially corrupted project, import each track into the new project, ideally starting with the problematic one to test if the problem persist into the new project. If the issue doesn’t show up again (in the new project), chances are that the old project is indeed getting corrupted. eieio
I’ll do that. I was hoping it would be an easier fix. This project has a gazillion plugins. I’ll update on what happens. Thank you for the fast reply. Buffer is all the way up. The uad has not been updated. I have been working on 25 projects for months and this is the only glitchy one so I don’t think it’s outside the project. Tbc…
Hacksaw
I just ran into this problem, and my answer was surprising, but simple: for some reason, I had some muting automation on the Master. Once I cleared it, no problems.
