crabbi
Hi, what do Logic users use to strip the vocals from a track? I heard Moises was good but it's not available for Macbooks. Thanking you.
David Nahmani
Graham!! Good to see you again here. How are you? Busy with live shows lately I've noticed, that's awesome man. So personally depending on the mix, I've had decent to amazing results using the classic method I describe in the following thread: Separate beat and vocals If that helps I suppose I could make a template for this. Nunstummy
Laval.ai seems to work. First 3 songs are free, I think? https://www.lalal.ai/ Frankly, I don’t really have a use case in my home music production, other than creating karaoke instrumentals, fast. I’ve looked into this out of curiosity only, and tried Moises on my iPhone. I’m curious what you’re trying to do?
crabbi
Hey, thanks both, good to hear from you again David. Yes, busy, so I want to do a live vocal over some of my tracks for a live gig or two. The original masters are lost, so if I can phase/eq the vox out & do them live, without it sounding just 'plopped over the top', then job's a good 'un.
