Grant TK
I previously used Cubase and Addictive Drums. I have now moved to Logic X Pro. I cannot find how to get the Addictive Drums Panel up. In Cubase it displayed the Kit, FX section and Beats etc. This was accessed by an Icon on the channel strip. I also use the GM drum map on Cubase which was ideal for editing the loops. I can't access this type of thing either. It just seems to be a piano type editor at the bottom of the screen with no way to determine each type of drum etc. I'm still a novice with Logic. Zipfunk
On the channel strip you should see Addictive Drums as your instrument. Are you using AD1 or AD2?
cinningbao
In the channel strip where you loaded AD as an instrument, you'll see a little blue bar with the plugin name on it, click on that and the plugin interface will open,.
Grant TK
I'm using AD 1. When I click on the blue bar, a blank black window comes up. It's the same window as when you get a plug-in up on an audio track. This is titled Addictive Drums, but it's blank. If I left click in certain place, I get a drum sound, but no beats/ kit/ fx screens come up.
cinningbao
sounds like it isn't compatible with some part of your setup. Either Logic or macOS. I have AD1, and the GUI doesn't display, it's just black. You might need to upgrade to AD2 unfortunately; I don't think XLNAudio update AD1 anymore. Grant TK
Just downloaded AD2 demo version. It all works as per AD 1 did in Cubase, but I can’t find GM drum map like in Cubase. It was much easier to edit beats/ loops etc. Any advice?
cinningbao
Hehe, getting yeah the GM map catches me out (translate: I forget where the option to change the key map is) Hit the Question Mark in the top right corner and the first entry in the dropdown is Map Window, and you can change the Map in the top left of that window. Have fun!
Grant TK
Hi. The only question mark is on the left of my screen. That just say “quick help” when I click. I can’t seem to get map window?
cinningbao
If your interface doesn't look like this I'm not sure what's going wrong.
