xmortenx
Ohhhh Nooooo I have clicks at the end of almost every 20 second sample I have done of a piano. Is there a way to batch fade all the samples keeping the name and everything identical - but just with fades ? I´m pulling my hair - it sounded so good and I never tried to sustain for the full 20 seconds, but just kept focusing on playability
David Nahmani
Are you going to create an instrument in Sampler? Because if you are then you'll be able to do the fades there.
xmortenx
The samples are transferred to the sampler "Audiolayer" on an IPAD. So sadly not using the Logic sampler, but only using Logic to trim, cut and export all the files....
fuzzfilth
Find the free audio editor Audacity, it can do batch jobs.
kiotozane
Drag all the files onto a track in LPX, apply Inspector fadeout to all of the regions that works for you. Export all these regions as new files, with their filename being original filename (their region name) plus added "FADED" to the end of the filename. Select all the original files in Finder, right click and Rename, add UNFADED or whatever to the filename. Then select all the new LPX updated files in Finder. Again use Finder Rename tool, and remove the FADE text from the filenames. Voila you now have all the files with fade-outs with the same filename as before. fuzzfilth
Good idea. I hadn't thought of Export Region as Audio File.
xmortenx
Awesome Thanks Could I not just export all the files with the original files names to a new folder and use that instead of all the renaming? Going to give it a try:)
kiotozane
Of course! Don't know why i came up with that extra rename step
