Dynamic_Notes
Ive just gone through the LogicPro 10.7 pdf (see list below) and Im really disappointed to see Apple have (apparently) mindlessly reverted many flip menus and dialogs consistent with a nice dark mode to anything from and OK greyish colour to a blinding white. Hopefully Ive got all this wrong and the menus colours etc are linked to a global OS choice (dark/light mode) Can some confirm? This is problematic because your eyes adjust to the general dark mode then you open up a window and suddenly get blinded by the high contrast. In any case I WISH WISH WISH Apple would let us all choose our own colours cuz everyones eyes are different. I HATE these blindingly white screen trainwrecks. and yeah assuming the nightmare still stands, Im gonna complain. Dynamic_Notes
"so, you're comparing logic 7 to 10.7? logic 7 was 2004... huh???" (Edit See apology above). The list is what I see in Apples own LogicPro10.7 pdf. Many of the menus in that pdf are primarily white or at least very bright in contrast to having things in dark mode. Yes some are a little more greyed out than others. Those arent too bad. I dont know if there was a Logic10.6 pdf Apple put out but in the Logic10.5 pdf these menus are in dark mode so that inconsistency made me wonder if Apple had changed things. So, just did a quick look at a few 10.7 youtube videos (just scrubbing through the time line) and from what I saw there were light menus through those. I wonder if having the OS in light mode makes a difference to those menus? @ValliSoftware thankyou for those screenshots. THAT is what I want to see. Can I ask, do you have your OS in dark mode as well? Edited October 26, 2021 by Dynamic_Notes

kiotozane
Under Logic's own Preferences -> Display you can set this to whatever you want. LPX can follow the system mode or you can override system mode to always light or always dark. When you are either in system dark mode or you have set LPX to dark mode by preference, then all windows and dialogues are dark. Just in time for Halloween.
