seq998
LP 10.7.0 asks to download "Some additional content is needed for this project. Do you want to download it now?" almost everytime I open a old project or a template even I download them and re-save the template. iMac pro, macos big sur 11.6, LP 10.7.0. Any advice? Thanks! David Nahmani
When you choose Logic Pro > Sound Library > Open Sound Library Manager, do you see everything installed or is some of the content uninstalled?
seq998
Everything installed, full!
David Nahmani
Weird... Including all legacy and compatibility content?
seq998
Yes. I think it’s a bug of 10.7…
David Nahmani
I suppose it could be, I've seen this kid of behavior before 10.7 though, especially when opening existing projects. I find the general behavior of the Logic Sound Library Manager/Management quite obscure and frustrating. Generally when it's asking to download something I just download it without asking too many questions.
JakobP
In another thread, Ultrabeat was the suspect for this behavior, so are there instances of Ultrabeat in the projects that are doing this ?

David Nahmani
Jakob is right. Here's the bug he's referring to: Ultrabeat Drum Kits not loading in 10.7.
seq998
Yes David, that’s it. Thanks Jakob is right. Here's the bug he's referring to: Ultrabeat Drum Kits not loading in 10.7.
David Nahmani
You're welcome! At least now you know you're not alone. And the issue was reported back to Apple.
ValliSoftware
Jakob is right. Here's the bug he's referring to: Ultrabeat Drum Kits not loading in 10.7.0 Okay, I read this thread and would like to say this. When you get this message A file installer has been fully downloaded with no issues, now that prompt needs your permission to install all the files. The files are on the system. Do a search from terminal thru all your volumes, it's there. Once you see it, note the full path. If there's a mismatch with your existing Ultrabeat files path, something was done outside of Logic.
