alexe
When I turn on low latency monitoring mode in Logic Pro 10.7, I can't hear the input from the microphone on the selected audio track anymore, I only hear the other tracks both during playback and recording. The channel strip meter shows that the track is getting an input signal from the microphone, I just can't hear it. As soon as I turn low latency monitoring off, without changing anything else, I once again hear the input from the microphone. Does anybody have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong? triplets
Do you have Auto Input Monitoring checked under Record menu?
alexe
Do you have Auto Input Monitoring checked under Record menu? Yes, but I've just tried it both on and off and it makes no difference.
triplets
You wanna leave iAuto Input Monitoring unchecked because when you arm a track and you wanna play along something you won't hear yourself if it's checked. The fact that you lose input while engaging LLM is another problem. What plugins do you have on that track?
rome8180
I'm having the same issue. I've tried having "auto input monitoring" both on and off. It makes no difference. Surely low latency mode doesn't automatically turn off input monitoring, does it? That would make it pretty useless if it did. I'm trying to record vocals and I'm stuck with either dealing with latency or not hearing myself. Neither situation is ideal.
