Automating Wet/Dry of 3rd Party Plug-in

Hi All,

I'm a new Logic User coming from FL Studio & I used to automate the wet/dry mix of a specific plugin with FL's built in Wet/Dry knob, which it natively has for every plugin you add. Even with plugins that didn't have a wet/dry as a built in parameter. This is the way I can fade in an effect such as reverb or delay on a specific word (for example).

I primarily use Waves & FabFilter plug-ins, most of which don't have a wet/dry parameter.

How would I achieve this type of automation?

I've seen methods that involve sending the track to a bus with the desired effect active, then automating the send of that bus, but those forum posts were from 5-11 years ago, is there a new or easier method?

I appreciate any help!

Thanks

No, there is no new/easier method in Logic Pro: using a send to a bus and inserting the effect onto the Aux receiving that bus is still is the most straightforward method to do it in Logic Pro.
