horacenalle
Can anyone tell me how to recover a project that's saved only as an Alias? I have no idea how whole projects were converted to Aliases and the Project versions were deleted! I really need to access them but Logic won't let me. How I can recover them? Atlas007
I probably misunderstand, but how did you manage to save a file as an alias without the original one?
fisherking
an alias is a pointer to a file; how did you generate the aliases? click once on one of the aliases. and hit command-R; this will reveal the location of the original file. but like atlas007, am confused about this. you need a file (ie, an actual logic project) in order to create an alias... horacenalle
Thanks to Fisherking for solving the problem. I have no idea how these Aliases were created. I certainly had no intention of creating them but user error is a possibility. Fisherking has explained how to find the original file and ... that was all I needed. Thanks!
