dickie_uk
Hi everyone - new Logic Pro user here, coming from a Cubase / Digital Performer background. This forum has been hugely helpful getting me up and running - but I'm stuck on what I think is probably a really simple thing. I'm working on moving some legacy MIDI files across into my new shiny Logic Pro 10.7 setup and I'm trying to clean up a few things as I go. Is there a way to mass change multiple midi tracks to be a 'no plug-in' input? I tried selecting multiple tracks in the mixer, and holding down shift while I change the FX and that works fine - but I can't see to get the same functionality nulling the plug-ins for all tracks either using option, shift or combinations of the two. Basically I'm trying to set all the midi tracks to be a null instrument and then point them one at a time to the right VST. Thanks all! polanoid
If that helps, you can reset the complete channel strip of all selected tracks at once using the Reset Channel Strip Setting key command (not defined by default I think, you will have to define it in Key Commands->Edit... first
dickie_uk
Thats awesome - exactly what I needed (and it works with multi-track select). Biggest challenge was finding a key combination that isn't already taken Thankyou very much Polanoid! Davids book is coming from Amazon today, so hopefully that'll get me up to speed on a lot of the other stuff.
