M1 performance

Hi

I have a new 16 inch macbook pro with latest monterey and logic pro, and i notice some performance issue in native mode.

Sometimes in a loop, playback would just stop just like a cpu overload is happening, only to resume half a second later, but at the beginning of the loop.

I've never seen anything like this before. All the third party plugins i use are M1 versions (no rosetta), and my session is quite small, nothing crazy. CPU use seems to get some spikes sometimes, don't really know why.

Is this behavior normal ? Is it still too early for monterey and M1 logic pro ? It feels quite buggy right now. (My soundcard is RME Babyface Pro and is very stable)

Thanks

I have been having issues like this as well on my M1 Max 16 inch. Indeed it does feel very buggy and Logic doesn’t seem to be handling the power of the new machines properly. I also created a thread about this earlier and other users report similar issues.
