constant survivor
Hi everyone, I am slaving a hardware groove box (Synthstrom Deluge) to Logic Pro X. The Deluge is connected via USB (no Hub) to my iMac (USB MIDI). Syncing worked well so far but yesterday I noticed the following: - audio tracks that are recorded into the groovebox, have some weird audio artifacts when I trigger PLAY from Logic. hard to describe but it sounds like a bad time stretching algorithm or maybe the result of clock jitter(?). - the same audio tracks sound fine, when I hit PLAY on the Deluge (i.e. in this case not being slaved to Logic) - also no problem appearing when triggering a MIDI track on the Deluge from Logic. All synths sound fine in that case. it really just appears with recorded audio tracks - recording of the audio tracks was done at the same tempo of 94bpm in Logic as well as on the Deluge. playback is the same tempo. Theres not so much coming to my mind how I can solve that. - I tried another USB cable (haha). Same problem. - Changing MIDI delay settings in Logic also no success. - changing I/O buff size. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Atlas007
How Deluge is synced to Logic?
constant survivor
USB MIDI. It's the same when using Ableton. But there is another weird thing I noticed. After triggering play, audio is running and is smashed. I then mute and unmute the audio track on the deluge and then the audio suddenly sounds fine. I also posted this issue in Deluge Forum and we agreed, that this is weird.
