my sine is fine
Hello! Could you please say how disable this: every time I import audio samples into arrangement it also changes the pitch/key and volume of imported sound, I want it imported in its original key like as original sound. Atlas007
Are those samples Apple loops?
my sine is fine
Atlas007, no, just random samples from various sound libraries
polanoid
Looks like the sample rate of the audio files doesn't match your project's. However, in that case Logic should display a dialog asking you to convert the file's sample rate. Doesn't that dialog appear for you? polanoid
...or, if there are already audio regions in the project, Logic should convert the files automatically. If you look into the Project Audio browser, do the imported files match the projects sample rate?
my sine is fine
polanoid, thank you, yes, imported files match the project's sample rate. But the default key for a project is C and samples were in D# and F. Also with a volume of imported files, i've seen that in inspector to the left their gain was automatically changed to -11 db. So those samples were Apple loops? How to know that? Because they are in .wav and in Untagged Loops tab
polanoid
Sorry, what do you mean by Untagged Loops Tab?

polanoid
Ah OK didn't even know about that. What happens if you do not add the files via the Loop Browser (e.g. just drag them from the Finder into the Tracks Area)?
evil_cliff
Turn off ‘Flex & Follow’ in the inspector and cha get the gain back to 0. I think you can turn this all off by default in project settings - tempo
