Ricky D
Hello! I'm trying to cut and paste and use the fade tool within the same track which contains 2 takes, but Logic seems to be different than usual. I've been moving around good parts from take two and trying to paste it over bad parts. But often the new parts stay hidden behind the bad parts and it's difficult to make changes. For instance I'm trying to use the fade tool on the cuts I've made (posted image) but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Kind regards Ricky
Atlas007
According to you screen capture, you seem to be dealing with comping takes…
polanoid
It is not possible to fade between two Take Folders
Ricky D
Ok, so of we make several takes, which is the easiest way to move stuff around and to use parts of different takes? Unfortunately we are not playing with a click so the takes will never be completely synced.
polanoid
To move/trim/cut Takes inside a Take Folder you will need to switch from Quick Swipe Comping mode to Take Edit mode (or activate the "Quick Swipe and Take Editing Click Zones" in the Preferences). polanoid
...and to use parts of different takes, use the Quick Swipe Comping mode, of course. Atlas007 already posted a link to the documentation above
