Mirolab1
I can no longer monitor live audio through Logic! I don't exactly know when I lost this capability... it was over a year ago, and it happened either with a logic update, or my upgrade from Apollo 8 to x8 interface. Everything about Logic 10.5 is working OK for me... I can record as long as I monitor my input directly from the UA console app. I see the input meters working on my Logic record enabled track, but the audio does not pass thru to a bus or an output. I can record the audio on that channel... and then play it back successfully, but of course this is not ideal. I cannot listen to any live audio through Logic's plugins, amp models, reverb, etc. I've even set my audio output to be Mac's built-in to see if it's a UA driver thing... and no go.. I'm running on Logic 10.5.1 on Catalina 10.15.7 on a trashcan MacPro. (Is my logic version too far ahead of Catalina maybe?) I'm getting desperate here to get this working properly! Don't know what to try next.
triplets
Do you have Software Monitoring turned off in Logic's preferences?
Mirolab1
After over a YEAR of suffering without this feature.... DUH!.... yeah it turns out that I had this turned OFF. I don't know how it got turned off, or why I missed it, but so glad it's working again! Thanks.
