favdave
No matter how much RAM or how fast my computer, I would get crashes several times a day in Logic. Like many, I would command-S to save as I went. I would also stop and start with the spacebar and do other things VERY QUICKLY. Because I've been using Logic a long time. I recently started going more slowly -- I wait a few seconds after hitting the spacebar to stop before I command-S. I wait a moment after hitting the spacebar to stop before hitting it again to start. I wait a moment before opening plugins, deleting plugins, deleting tracks -- anything. Not long -- literally one or two seconds. IT has made all the difference. I was working too fast for the program. Because I haven't had a crash in days and I even have Logic open along with Chrome, which usually means crash-o-rama. So if you too work really fast, trying leaving a few seconds in between your actions. So far it's been great!
