extrememixing
Is there an easy way to make and name Markers in Logic? I can make and name them in Pro Tools on the fly usually in one pass once I know the song. With Logic, I open the markers window and I can click the + button, then I have to click on the name and make sure i have all of it highlited, then I have to click off the field--Ender or Return screws everything up. There must be an easier way. Seems so tedious. Help!!! Steve
David Nahmani
You could use the following key commands (US Preset default): • Create Marker (Option-') or Create Marker Without Rounding (Control-Option-') • Rename Marker (Shift-') • Return (to close the text field) If you would like a single key command to create and rename a marker, then consider using a utility such as Keyboard Maestro which allows you to create a key command to trigger a macro of two (or more) key commands: https://www.keyboardmaestro.com/main/
extrememixing
Thanks David. That should help. In PT you just press Enter during playback and it comes up with the name field highlitghted, name it and press enter to accept the change. Your key commands are much easier than all that clicking with the mouse. Thanks! Steve
