Just a final note that the overall stability problems {i.e system crashes} pre-date the Amplitude installation - just in case anyone out there is having similar issues without Amplitude installed. It's possible that you have multiple unrelated issues. But for sure it stopped the popping and jumping and the plug-in error messages. Great! What about the system crashes?
