Vontrapp
Hi all, I recently noticed that some Alchemy presets seem to have been removed. I opened an older project which uses the preset 'Amberville' and it showed missed sound files when opening. The specific tracks also just play the default patch. Does anyone know if there was some sort of overhaul of the Alchemy presets, and more importantly, is there any way to get them back? The project loads and plays fine on my older Mac on which it was created, so perhaps I can move some stuff from it to my new MacBook? Thanks! Vontrapp
OK! I solved this one. When searching my old Mac Pro for clues I came across the older CamelSound folders. I never realised that the presets I used were that old! So I found the topic that tells you how to get the old CamelSound presets and samples into Logic: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=149060 And voila, there they are! Answering this topic for others searching for this.
enossified
I used Alchemy with Ableton Live before switching to Logic. I had a fair number of sound libraries with sounds that were not included in Logic. It's easy enough to tell when I'm using Alchemy 1.5 presets: the eight snapshot pads have numbers rather than names.
