ruiner
How do I go about panning individual drums? Especially automating the panning of individual drums... Without having to option-drag regions around and create duplicate channel strips... Its SO annoying... sometimes I just skip it... but it's really critical in the production of hot rap beats so I'm at a loss... Does it have something to do with Buses? Am I just a moron? lol Dj Ruiner www.djruiner.com
uncleozzy
You could automate Ultrabeat's panning parameters, but personally, I think it's easier to use Ultrabeat as multi-output (plus you can apply effects to individual drums, too). Once you've got the multiple outputs set up, just record automation for whatever parameters you want to change. If you need help setting it up, it's probably easier to just watch than for me to explain, but the gist is:- Instantiate Ultrabeat as a multi-output instrument - Assign your drums to Ultrabeat's outputs - Click the little + in Ultrabeat's channel strip to create the aux channels
