xanderdnb Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 So i am putting a compressor on a bass that sit at about 200hrz and with a low end at 50. I have eqed out a section for the kick.. I have a sub that sometimes booms for a long time, but then stops for a cupple measures. what is the best way to make that mid bass compremise so that the sub pulss through.. I have put a compressor on the mid bass, and tried side chaing it to the bass. Ploki Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 you have sub and midbass on different tracks? if that is the case, just set Send to "bus X" on the sub track and in the midbass sidechain set input to"bus X" in that case bus X will carry the copy of the signal and feed it to the side chain, so the midbass will duck when sub pushes through Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
