I'm currently using a Dual G5 1.8GHz 3GB OS 10.4.5 Ram and had my 80G hard drive crash recently. So, I replaced it crashed drive with a new 160G drive and re-installed Tiger 10.4 only, then I tried to re-install Logic Pro 7.1 I get a message " Errors Installing Logic Pro Please try again" .Please help.

Thanks guys, but I actually found the root-cause to my problem. It was a bad Kingston memory stick as part the 2GB pair in my G5. My friend ran the Apple diagnostics routine on the system RAM and found the error which was intermittant, it took a few interations. So, when you install applications of course it's data stream uses the RAM to write to the hard drive and if the RAM has errors it will casuse installer errorson any application of substantial size. This also explains why Logic crashed alot when a certain number of VI's were loaded, even when the system performance meters were a less than a quarter the way up. I replaced the bad RAM and it's fine.

It's knida funny, I upgraded my RAM the same time I switched to Logic Pro from Protools. Digidesign almost had me back. :D
