Logic 5.5.1 and E-MU 0404

I am just about buying a new soundcard for using with Logic 5.5.1

I am still thinking which one to buy:

* E-MU 0404

* M-Audio Audiophile Firewire

My main points:

* stability within 5.5.1

* Two ASIO channel should be availble (one in Logic, one in other ASIO application)

* The ability to record the main mix using just the control panel software routing possibilites

In case of 0404 I would not use any Patchmix DSP, effects, MIDI and not even record anything with it, just using Logic in-built instruments.

In i simple case like this, would you recommend the 0404 for using it with Logic 5.5.1?
