Zim Bargo
Hi, As a very new user to Logic I've been exploring some of the great plug-ins that I haven't previously had access to. Match EQ is the current focus as I'm really interested to see what it can achieve. I imported a finished song which I had recorded in SX in a previous life and bounced down to AAC in iTunes. No problem there. I then tried to generate an EQ template from a professionally recroded track which I also have in my iTunes library. Navigated through the library to select the song file but it was greyed out and not able to be selected. Can Match EQ only generate templates from AIFF or WAV files(and if so, how do I convert my AAC file) or is there another way of doing this. Really appreciate any tips Zim
MarioLanderos
If the AAC file is not protected you can drag it from the Finder onto an audio track and then it will convert it to whatever format your using (AIFF, WAV). After that you can use it as a template for Match Eq.
Zim Bargo
Hi Mario, Didn't realise that it automatically converted, but I've already dragged it intoo an audio file - which worked fine - but in the Macprovideo tutorial I had seen which showed how to use Match EQ, they selected the source file frmo the finder to generate the template. When I tried to select that it wouldn't let me!?
