JAYOU
I'm not sure how to do this in logic... I'm using a 3rd party VST, and I want to use the hyper edit to control the rate of the LFO in the VST, how can I do this? Thanks! J
fader8
Depends on what you're hosting the VST with. Kore? FXpansion? Plogue Bidule? Each of those are going to have their own way of accessing the automatable parameters for a VST plug. Can you get an AU version of this plug-in? Much easier then. JAYOU
I don't understand what you mean... I'm hosting N.I Massive inside Logic...
PaulSC
I'm hosting N.I Massive inside Logic... In that case, you're running Massive as an AU, not a VST. View Track Automation for the instrument track that contains Massive. This gives you a pop-up menu of parameters to automate. The Massive submenu in this pop-up will offer a large list of parameters, and you can draw automation for the parameters of your choice (including e.g. LFO Rate) directly on the track. True for track automation, but for automating it in the Hyper Editor, the easy way is to create a lane for, say, modulation. Draw a few data points in. In Massive, ctrl-click the LFO Rate control and select MIDI Learn. Play your modulation sequence and Massive will now respond to it.
