RichardSX90
I know that I can use Option and the hand tool to copy Inserts from one channel strip to another in the mixer. But this doesn't seem to work with the Send or Input slots. I always get the drop-down menu, no matter what modifier key I use with left-click. Thanks for your help. Audiogrocery
I guess you have many channels which you like to feed with system FX and you wish save time ? I little hint: Select all channels in the mixer you wish to make sends, click any channel and make a send to that system FX bus. This will create sends for all selected channels. Solution pcoblenzo Posted September 15, 2021 Solution Share Posted September 15, 2021 (edited) This is not solved. He is asking about Copying. This would include automation. The answer given is for a different question. This may help: Edited September 15, 2021 by pcoblenzo
fuzzfilth
Yes. But does it matter in the end ? It made Richard happy 12 years ago and seemingly still does. That's a lot of happy from a 'wrong' answer.
SeanCutlery
This was really helpful to me, thank you @pcoblenzo. I know how to initiate sends using the same amounts with multiple channels, but duplicating sends retroactively has befuddled me for years since <option + drag> doesn't work with sends. Hope this helps someone else in the future too!

That's a lot of happy from a 'wrong' answer. It does matter, because every answered question is a resource for everyone in the future who comes here with the same question. If an answer that doesn't really answer the question asked (how to copy sends), but rather an adjacent question (how to create sends on multiple tracks at once), helps the OP, that's just a lucky coincidence. It likely won't help others as much, though. I, for example, came here because I have a track that already has many sends on it that I want to copy to just one other track. Audiogrocery's hint to create sends simultaneously on multiple tracks would therefore not have helped me, I needed an answer to the actual question (which thankfully @pcoblenzo provided).
