MindTheater
Hi all. I just received my Melodyne software. It was not showing up in my channel strip as an option for a plugin. Aside from the logic plugins, The only thing that I was able to pick was Apple plugins, A handful of things all with the letters AU before them. Is their some kind of setting to allow logic to recognize new software plugins? If this isn't bad enough, I downloaded the newest Melodyne Beta software. I figured I'd shut down logic and reopen to se if it recognized the new posssible plugin. Now every time I try to open logic, its gets half way thru loading and i get "THE APPLICATION LOGIC PRO QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY." and it will not open. My music life SUCKS today! I really give you guys credit that know you're s#!+ so in depth!
emilenitrate
Are you using the Melodyne stand alone application or the Melodyne plugin? The app won't show up in Logic, you'd need to use the Melodyne bridge. The plugin will show up. - Emile
MindTheater
I started out buying the Melodyne uno. That's no plugin. After realizing that, I downloaded The new Melodyne editor beta version witch say it can be used as a plugin. Still it did not show up. Or maybe it was going to after I restarted logic. I can't tell now because I lost Logic. It will not even open anymore. When I look at the error report it mentions Melodyne uno...I's so screwed! I have no idea where my original dvd and serial are!!! that was so long ago. I might have to buy a whole new logic bundle!! ChicoSatis
Hi Have you tried, just to get logic open, going to your Mac Hd/Library/Audio/Plugins/Component folder and removing the melodyne component. Hopefully this will at least open up Logic for you. HTH
redlogic
The new Melodyne Editor beta is not a plugin. It's a standalone app. Check out the Celemony Forum. They're very helpful. http://www.celemony.com/userforum/index.php
hellleutel
Well the regular melodyne contains melodyne bridge which *is* a plugin. works fine here with Logic9. uli
