YopoMusic
Hi - I use Logic a lot for recording voiceovers. Often over an edit you get a very small click - even if you trim very carefully. The easiest way round it is to add a small fade in/out of say "2" to the offending region. It's no big deal but is there any way to have Logic add this fade automatically as a region is created? I just select all regions at the end of editing and add the fade ins and fade outs, but it would be neat to hear it as you edit without having to add each one in manually. Thanks Jonny
shivermetimbers
I don't know that you can 'auto' fade as it is created, but have you tried noise gates and/or strip silence?
Eric Cardenas
I don't know if it helps but there is a Drag mode called x-fades.
Addni
If you select all the regions, you can make a fade to all the regions at once using the Region preference window in the Inspector

eddydenton
I would also like a feature/keyboard shortcut to add fades of x length to the start and end of a region. A very tedious process in doing voiceover editing.
David Nahmani
I would also like a feature/keyboard shortcut to add fades of x length to the start and end of a region. A very tedious process in doing voiceover editing. Two key commands can help you: • Apply Default Crossfade (Control-Option-X) Adds a crossfade at the end of selected regions, of the length and curve set in Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio :: Editing. • Apply Last Edited Fade Again (Option-Shift-X) Adds a fade-in, fade-out or crossfade to the selected regions, of the type, length and curve of the last fade you manually added to another region.
