ggrelad
Hi guys, I will really appreciate your help with this one. I've been using Logic for several years. I love using markers and navigating using them. I regularly use the keyboard for this purpose, with my own key combinations. The problem is that when I tried to assign Midi command for the "Go To Next Marker / Go To Previous Marker" logic does not response. On the other hand, the Go to Marker Number 1,2...,9 works as expected. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1026651/Junk/keycommandLeran.png This behavior might be a bug on the Key Command section. I would really appreciate if someone with try it on his system and let me know if he has the same behavior. Thanks a lot. Elad
David Nahmani
Works fine here. Try in an empty project, set up just a few markers and see if that works?
ggrelad
Nope. Tried that again on an empty project with no luck. It's good to know that this is a local problem on my system, which indicate that there is a solution. I didn't upgraded yet to 9.1.4, maybe someone with 9.1.3 will try? thanks again. ps. sorry for posting it on the wrong place!
David Nahmani
What about regular Go to Previous/Next Marker key commands? What about choosing Options > Marker > Go to Previous/Next? Do any of those work?
ggrelad
Keyboard shortcuts works fine. Actually i've managed to make it work with my Korg keyboard but it does not work consistently, i think it's related to a human factor, keys velocity What is the best way of Midi Learning Key Commands, when using notes? I mean, Note On command, Note Off command, is Velocity is an issue? because in my case, when i push softly the keys it did work... ! Thanks again David! Eriksimon
You can safely delete the velocity value so that it just says 90 67 - then it'll (or should) react to that note at any velocity. (Doubleclicking the value will open the Controller Assignments window, where you can edit the MIDI message)
