s0niccurve
Hey, recently I have been getting these annoying things happen when I use the marquee tool. This video will explain what is going on... Any ideas what is happening here, or is this just a standard buggy logic scenario?
teedoff087
It's not a bug. The right and left arrow keys move your marquee selection according to the transients in your regions. Shift-Left and Shift-Right extend that selection to the next/previous transient.
s0niccurve
Sorry you misunderstood. Watch the video again. The marquee selection skips the first transient and moves exactly to bar 1 and will not allow you to move the selection to the left of bar 1. CCTMusic
Hi You would appear to have the Project start at bar 0? Does the same thing happen in a new project that starts at bar 1? CCT
s0niccurve
Ah yeah that is probably it. Why does logic even allow you to put things before bar 1 if it goes into meltdown when you do?

David Nahmani
Ah yeah that is probably it. Why does logic even allow you to put things before bar 1 if it goes into meltdown when you do? It used to work fine. As they've added new features to Logic, a lot of them break down if you have your project start marker in any place other than 1 1 1 1. I recommend always leaving that project start marker on 1 1 1 1: it doesn't matter wether you move it left or right of that position, you will get some odd behaviors.
