simon5413 Posted July 25, 2012 Share Posted July 25, 2012 I just started using Logic in 64-bit finally (after having worked successfully in 32-bit, same version, for quite some time). Now, all of a sudden, everytime I "capture last take as recording", my single-pass performance gets chopped up into takes in an indiscernible fashion. All of my midi data is there, just spread out over a couple regions. This NEVER happened before, and I didn't change any settings. I checked the project/recording section of preferences and everything looks right (midi section said "merge only in cycle record"). But, perhaps forebodingly, the record tab in project preferences does freeze for about 10 seconds before displaying when I press the "record" button. Also, it seems to happen on random tracks (not all tracks) and is not "triggerable".
