RESPECT Posted September 17, 2005 Share Posted September 17, 2005 hi my question is on the akai mpc1000 or the new akai mpc 2500, and how it can work with Logic. Can i use an akai mpc as a instrument in logic, and would this drum machine work perfect with logic. Do i have to connect it with midi in order for it to work. David Nahmani Posted September 19, 2005 Share Posted September 19, 2005 It can work just like any midi synth: it can be both a MIDI controller (where taping on a pad sends the MIDI info to Logic) and a MIDI Tone Generator (where sending the MIDI info from Logic triggers the sounds in your MPC. The MPC is also a sequencer and you can transfer whatever songs you have programmed from MPC to Logic and vice versa. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
